The outside work is really coming together! Here are a few pictures of the progress.
here are a few pictures of the house and garage being moved. It certainly is looking different without the house on the property!
below is a picture of the elevator shaft being constructed on the north side of the building. This picture was taken last week.
below is a picture from today. You can see that the basement is now taking shape.
below is the south side. As you can see, trees have been removed, the wall has been exposed and layer of insulation has been added.
below you can see that the foundation for the front addition (kitchen, entryway, and office space) has been put in. it is exciting to see the footprint of the new building. Before long we will see walls going up!

All interior walls upstairs(except mechanical room) have been removed, carpet and drop ceiling have been removed, and you can now see straight into the gym from the front door.
Here are two pictures of the inside of the faith center. This is the upper level. Notice that the walls, carpet, and drop ceiling have all been removed. You can also see into the gymnasium (future worship center) from the front door. Workers have been working hard to make as much progress as possible.
Much of the earth has been pulled away from the building on the north side. They are currently laying block for the basement classrooms and elevator. The appearance of the building from the softball/soccer field is dramatically different now that the whole building is exposed. You will soon be able to see where the new
addition of offices will be.
The house is now lifted off the foundation and waiting for the big move down the road. As long as everything stays on schedule, the house will be leaving the property toward the end of next week. Rest assured we will have video and pictures updated on this blog.
